Current Pain Points for Tourists

  1. Complex Trip Planning: Difficulty in planning detailed itineraries.

  2. Limited Pre-Experience: Inability to get a prior feel for the tour.

  3. Last-Mile Uncertainty: Challenges in navigating the final leg of the journey.

  4. Poor Local Experience: Lack of genuine local interactions.

  5. Scarcity of Authentic Information: Limited access to reliable resources.

  6. Fragmented Online Information: Difficulty finding comprehensive details online.

  7. Unreliable Pricing: Inconsistent and non-transparent costs.

  8. Lack of Local Connections: Difficulty in connecting with authentic local culture.

  9. Absence of Integrated Planning Tools: No unified platform for planning the ‘India Experience.’

My Role
  1. Stakeholder Research: Identified and analyzed the pain points of tourists and other stakeholders.

  2. System Integration: Connected existing systems to a newly developed portal, creating a seamless user experience.

  3. Strategic Planning: Developed strategies for personalizing travel experiences, enhancing user engagement.

  4. Project Management: Created and communicated the Gantt map, ensuring a smooth handoff to the National Executive Council (NEC).

  • Developed an Interactive Platform: Created an interactive website where users can explore, plan, and book their trips. The platform also includes a mobile app that allows tourists to visualize their journey realistically.

  • Comprehensive UX Research: Led the UX research and information architecture, designing wireframes, sitemaps, flowcharts, and user journeys.

  • Effective Communication: Ensured seamless project communication across cross-functional teams, using estimated biweekly sprint goals to track progress.
